This volume was a six issue series written by Howard's creator Steve Gerber, which ran through Marvel's "Max" line of comics. Howard is changed into a rat when he fell into a tub of chemicals. He and Beverly spend the whole series to return Howard back to his normal Duck form.
Note: It is a MAX comic with even Beverly seen naked in issue 2, so not for kids!
