Five Ghosts: The Haunting of Fabian Gray was originally a five-issue mini-series written by Frank J. Barbiere and illustrated by Chris Mooneyham. Five Ghosts is a pulp adventure comic that started as a Kickstarter Project. The self-published comic proved successful and was picked up by Image Comics. Due to it's popularity, Image turned it into an Ongoing series with issue #6 in October 2013.
Plot Summary:
After a tragic encounter with an artifact known as "the dreamstone", infamous treasure hunter Fabian Gray was possessed by five literary ghosts (the wizard, the archer, the detective, the samurai, and the vampire) and has been granted access to their unique abilities. Of course, these powers have also come with a price.
