Blood Hunter was a Zuda webcomic written and illustrated by Loren Meyer. It won the Zuda monthly contest in September 2008, and ran for a single 60-page season. After the Zuda imprint was closed down by owner DC Comics, Blood Hunter was one of the titles published by DC via digital distribution channel ComiXology.

The story is set in a future world where vampires, having succeeded in synthesizing human blood, lent a 'helping hand' to wipe out self-destructive humanity. Enter the blood hunters, an order of vampires dedicated to hunting down and eradicating human beings. Victor, the title character, breaks away from the order to save the life of a baby girl.

Victor turns renegade, and becomes hunted himself at the behest of the vampire ruling council. His quest brings him face-to-face with werewolves, the mutant vampire race of Karantani, and finally an enclave of surviving humanity.

As his influences, Meyer cited Blade, 30 Days Of Night, Tomb Of Dracula, and movie Underworld. Despite only running for one season, the strip was well received on digital publication via ComiXology and still garners new fans.
