Salvo assembled the Warforce to serve as his personal crack team of operatives. They plotted to free the deadly hit man known only as Deep from Ryker's Island to finish off their roster and earn notoriety as deadly mercenaries. Unfortunately for them, Spider-Man and Nightwatch intervened; most of the members were captured by police on the island, and Salvo was disarmed and beaten by Salvo a short time later, prematurely squashing the career of the Warforce.
