The Unparalleled are a team of guardians from the planet that the Fantastic Four were going to travel to on the day that they got their powers. Before they left, they sent a deep space scan to check the terrain and atmosphere. This scan was perceived by the people of this planet. Their lead scientist, a man who would eventually take the name Overseer, mirrored the scan. What he saw was the Fantastic Four's powers first manifesting. They believed them to be a threat, so they learned how to harness that same cosmic energy thus creating The Unparalleled.
