The Haamin are a race that at some point diverged from Humanity, it is said they had fled into madness and the unknown beyond the edge of our Galaxy where they were transformed into something beyond Humanity's understanding. When they returned 15,000 years after Earth's destruction and the sowing of Man's seed across the Stars, they set out on an unholy mission to eradicate all life in the Galaxy.

Their campaign succeeded somewhat, with each species falling before their cosmic might, however survivors from each of the different enemy races banded together under the leadership of Prince Wayfinder and aided him in finding The Starsword, which he used to cripple the Haamin military forces, forcing them back to the furthest reaches of the galaxy.
