Blackheart brought  together several of his servents, Pao Fu, Wallow, Verminous Rex and Doghead to form his Spirits of Vengeance to fight Ghost Rider. They did not do well against Ghost Rider and suffered a crushing deffeat at Ghost Rider's hands. After their defeat they presumably went back to hell but both Dog Head and Rex have been seen in the current Ghost Rider title's. Dog Head was part of a group lead by Dan Ketch to destroy Caretakers libary of the Ghost Rider's but he got his head blown off by Caretaker using Johnny Blaze's old Hellfire shotgun. Rex has since became leader of a pack of Rat creatures much like himself but Rex has oddly become addicted to eating Ghost Rider's, this has had an effect on his appearance he is now much taller and has a flaming skull.
