Origin
The Gorn are also known as Gorns and Gornarian Archosaur. They are a race of humanoid lizard men.
Creation
The Gorn were created for the original Star Trek television series. The Gorn were at war with the Federation until a being forced the Captain of the Gorn vessel and the human vessel to fight to the death on an empty planet. the winner would live and the the loser would have his crew executed. James Kirk the human fought and beat the Gorn and refused to kill the Gorn saving both crews.
