The Black Knights are the foot soldiers of religious zealots who worship the Magus within the Universal Church of Truth. The Black Knights have clashed with Adam Warlock and the Guardians of the Galaxy. The Black Knights infiltrated Earth and set up a base of operations in Colorado. They were eventually challenged and defeated by the Annihilators. The Black Knights have been led by different commanders such as General Egeus and Captain Autolycus but Autolycus lost his soul to the Soul Gem.
