The Slashers could be understood as serial killers. They may be dead, like Bobby Brunswick, so full of rage that can't rest in peace and stays among the living fulfilling his revenge. Or they may be "regular" human beings, sociopaths and killers that just enjoy eviscerating their victims. In any case, Vlad and Cassie are on the hunt.
