The Wonderland Gang, first appearing in Detective Comics #841, is made up of entirely Lewis Carol themed villains. They are each modeled after a character from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and/or Through The Looking Glass. Members of the group include Tweedledee and Tweedledum, The Lion, March Harriet, The Walrus, The Carpenter, The Unicorn, and (for a while) The Mad Hatter. This team is known for committing heists themed around Alice in Wonderland, including the theft of hats (and other valuables), a coat of arms featuring the Lion and the Unicorn, and pearls (a reference to the oysters). While the Mad Hatter left the gang early on, leaving the Tweedles as the leaders, he is considered a quintessential member.
