The Dreadfuls is ateam created by Java, under his Dr. Dread identity and composed by evil versions of the members of the Terrifics, recruited from different alternate earths. With the help of Phantom Boy from earth-13, Plasma-Man of earth-43 and Metalmorpho of earth-44, Dr. Dread went into a rampage killing the doppelgangers of Mr. Terrific from those earths. That multiversal crime spree alerted the prime Mr. Terrific, who decided to intervent when he saw than the Mrs. Terrific of earth-11 was under danger. He went in a clash against the Dreadfuls, alone, but he fell under their superior powers. Only when he received the help of the rest of the team,the Dreadfuls were defeated and put under arrest by Justice Incarnate, the multiversal police.
