Forest and Hunter Rayner, declared themselves to be members of the Teen Lanterns Corps, an organization operating in a future when all the adults had died and only the younger people was left alive, among them, the many descendants of Kyle Rayner, the only ones capable of use the last power ring. To keep the order in the world, the teen lanterns shared the only ring and used it according the different situations and the experience needed for the different tasks.

However the reality of their origin would be different, because, as the other lanterns of the circle of fire, they where projections of the mind of Kyle Rayner.
