Origin
The Norsefire party was created by a coalition of Adam Susan, ultra far-right political organizations, and surviving corporations following the nuclear war that devastated the world. Founded upon the ideals of social purity and absolute control, the Party seized control of England in about 1992.
Creation
Norsefire was created by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. They made their first appearance in Warrior #1.
Major Story Arcs
V for Vendetta
The Norsefire party maintains a totalitarian government in England, with no opportunities for the citizenry to protest or rebel. As a result of the actions of the anarchist V, Norsefire's grip on the country gradually begins to crumble and weaken. It finally collapses following the death of Susan, amidst rioting and backstabbing that kills or incapacitates almost all remaining party members.
