Origin

Little is known about the Four Mopeds of the Apocalypse. At some point they were taken on by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as apprentices and sidekicks. The members of the Four Mopeds settled in Delta City, where they spent decades awaiting the signs of the coming apocalypse.

Creation

The Four Mopeds were created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. They made their first appearance in The Heckler #5.

Team Evolution

The Four Mopeds of the Apocalypse consists of Famine Lass, Kid Pestilence, Plague Boy, and their leader Skippy.

Major Story Arcs

The Heckler

The Four Mopeds of the Apocalypse are summoned together by the occurrence of several signs of the end times, including six pigeons exploding in a Delta City park, the Hens finally winning a game 6-0, and an oreo having three cookie layers. They four members meet, and learn that it is down to them, as the Four Horsemen have all accidentally contracted whopping cough due to an accident caused by Plague. The Four Mopeds together perform a ritual to summon up the nether god Flying Buttress, and then flee, leaving behind a cardboard cutout of themselves.
