As the nation of Bosqueverde looks to avenge the death of their assonated president, Ricardo Dominguez, his widow, Carmilla Dominguez, sends her nation’s forces to collect the suspected murderer: Marc Spector. While in New York City, Marc is captured and is extracted to this rogue nation. Guilty of the charges laid before him, Marc is detained as the nation runs a smear campaign against him in order to create a narrative for Carmilla’s preferred presidential candidate, Emmanuel Raposa, to win over the nation. But his opposition, Hector Silva, sees beyond the lunacy of this trial and demands it to be fair. Meanwhile, Frenchie and Marlene learn of Marc’s capturing and work to rescue him. As the inmates inside of the prison try to kill Marc, he reflects upon his mercenary days, and the oddity of this job in particular. Connecting this day in his head, Marc comes to realize that this assignation job was ordered by no other than… Carmilla herself. With very little time, the nation has elected Marc to be hung, but he manages to escape in order to stop Carmilla’s coup. With Marlene and Frenchie arriving just in time, Moon Knight suits up and stops the assassination of Hector that is being carried out by Emmanuel. As Hector is given the keys to Bosqueverde and swears to correct his nation, Carmilla is nowhere to be found…
