Moon Beam and Scowl come back to Century City but Scowl is murdered and Moonbeam joins Green Hornet to avenge his mentor. Meanwhile unknown to the Hornet, an ambitious Kent Palmer is fired from the Mayor's Office, but instead of going quietly he hatches a plan to get rid of the Mayor.

Green Hornet break-up an armed robbery, but Britt is hurt badly and needs some time to recoup. Meanwhile Kato, leaves Century city to handle a personal matter, and Kent Palmer, starts his plan by freeing a mass murder known as Mister Jenson, from death row.

Palmer then has Jenson dress as the Green Hornet and kill the Mayor in front of news cameras and witnesses. When Britt and Mulan hear about this they spring into action. While on patrol Mulan is stopped by the C.C. Police, and is saved by Lt. Chritton. Meanwhile Britt fights Jenson, on a rooftop.

Jenson is able to beat up Britt, and the real Green Hornet barely makes it away. He meets up with Mulan who is with Chritton, but Chritton is gunned down by a crooked cop, and Mulan and Britt make a break for it.

They sneek into an abandon mall, where they are tracked down by Jenson, once again. It looks like has them both dead to rights, when Moonbeam shows up and saves them. Jenson almost gets away but Britt chases him to the roof and beats him with a lead pipe. The police show up and take Jenson's body away.

Days later, Britt uses the Sentry Newspaper to take Palmer down and vows to clean up Century City.
