"Black Jack" Mi no Shirokin
A kidnapper seeking a ransom is shot while out on the run and holes up in the mountains with his child victim, slowly forming a bond with him as they struggle to stay alive. The boy gets ill and the kidnapper hires Black Jack to save him.
