Writer for Fawcett, where he wrote almost all of their westerns, Timely and Atlas Comics under Stan Lee (Marvel Tales, Journey into Mystery), as well as DC, Gold Key, and Western Publishing among others.
He wrote Turok for 26 years, Dr. Solar, and also had a decades spanning run on the Lone Ranger.
In 1998, the Guinness World Book of Records nemed Paul S. Newman the "Most Prolific Comic Book Writer" From 1947, until his death in 1999, Paul produced over 4,100 published stories (totaling about 36,000 pages) and thousands of unpublished plots, pitches, and scripts.
