Madeleine Blaustein
Madeleine Joan "Maddie" Blaustein first worked at Marvel and soon began writing for several DC Milestone comic titles, including a run on "Static", and co-creating and writing Lt. Marisa Rahm in "Deathwish" and "Hardware". Madeleine was also an extremely popular voice-over actress, until her death.

History
Madeleine Joan Blaustein "Maddie" was born Adam Blaustein on October 9th, 1960 in Long Island, New York, United States. She began working for Marvel Comics, and eventually segued into a run for DC's Milestone Media, writing a number of titles for the series, including a run on Static. She was the creative director for the Weekly World News, before it's dissolution in 2007. In addition, Blaustein was an immensely popular voice-over actress, and worked on a number of successful projects, perhaps most notably voicing Meowth in the English translation of the Pokémon anime . Video game localization coordinator and translator Jeremy Blaustein is her brother. Blaustein continued voice acting until 2008, when she quickly succumbed to an illness in her sleep.
