Jeff Dee along with Jack Herman, is the co-creator of the role-playing game "Villains & Vigilantes". It was one of first superhero role-playing games and sometimes regarded as the best of its time. Many of the characters from the V&V materials later appear in the Elementals series by Comico and also in the "Villains & Vigilantes" mini-series by Eclipse.

Jeff Dee has worked in various computer and role-playing game jobs. He was one of the early illustrators for TSR's Dungeons & Dragons modules and books. He also worked as a designer on some of the Ultima computer games.
