Jade Moede
A letterer, colourist and artist.
Career
Jade Moede first became involved in comic books in 1985 when he worked for DC on their Sergeant Rock title as a letterer. He continued working, mainly as a letterer and occasionally as a colourist for DC and Marvel, as well as a number of other publishers, most notably Valiant, throughout the remainder of the 1980s and into the 1990s. In recent years he has focused increasingly on his fine art works, producing a number of paintings and sculptures.
Personal Life
Jade Moede was raised in Hillside, New Jersey. He currently lives in Cotuit, Massachusetts. He graduated from the Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, as well as attending the Art Students League in New York. An accomplished fine artist, he received first place in the still life category of Artist Magazine's 2007 Artist Competition for his painting "Rabbit Sink". He has exhibited a number of his works across America. He is also interested in music, and released a solo album entitled Red, in 2004. He currently works at a post-production facility, where he does broadcast graphics.
