Best known for his over expressive art style, and often hulking male bodies, Ed McGuinness is one of the most well-known artists working in the business today. He has worked on projects like Superman/Batman, with Jeph Loeb and inker Dexter Vines, on an alternate universe arc featuring the Joker and Mr. Mxyzptlk. However, he is best known for working at Marvel. His most notable work at Marvel includes a run on Deadpool with writer Joe Kelly. In 2008, McGuinness teamed up with Loeb and Vines once again for the new Hulk series, which starred the new Red Hulk character, later revealed to be General Ross. The series was critically acclaimed, and McGuinness and Loeb enjoyed two years on the title. Marvel has recently been teasing the 'Rebirth' of an unknown character, and they have solicited Loeb and McGuinness to be the creative team for the title, out in December. He also worked on the first three issues of JLA Classified with Grant Morrison & the first six issues of Mr. Majestic.
