Best known for his work with Alan Moore illustrating the Graphic Novel Watchmen. He has worked for Vertigo and DC (Green Lantern Corps: Recharge and The Rann-Thanagar War - a tie-in with the Infinite Crisis event).
Before working on American publications he illustrated and lettered many classic British strips in the 1970s and 1980s including Harlem Heroes, ABC Warriors, Judge Dredd, Ro-Jaws' Robo-Tales, Rogue Trooper, Ro-Busters and Dan Dare (all for 2000AD) and appeared as Big E (the super hero editor of the short-lived comic Tornado for 22 issues in 1979).
