Biography

After graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City, Christopher Ivy started his career working for John Romita and Don Perlin in the Marvel Bullpen. He soon picked up freelance work as penciler, inker and colorist--but he’s most known for his inking stints at Marvel over Ron Garney on Ghost Rider, Michael Bair and Tom Morgan on Alpha Flight, Dwayne Turner on Cage and over James Fry and Stephen Platt on Marc Spector: Moon Knight. Eventually his inking credits included work for virtually every other comics publisher and includes: Sovereign Seven, Flash, JLA, Beast Boy (DC Comics), Shadowhawk, Supreme (Image), Bloodshot (Valiant), Aliens vs. Predator vs. Terminator and Star Wars: Bounty Hunters-Kenix Kil (Dark Horse) and most recently--inking Javier Saltares on G.I. Joe: Cobra Civil War (IDW) and inking over Marat Mychaels on Army of Darkness (Dynamite Entertainment.)

Ivy hails from Kansas but, being a military brat, has lived all over the US as well as the countries of England, Scotland and Germany. He now resides in Southern New Jersey.
