Chris Bachalo is an internationally recognized artist whose popularity as an artist has grown for many years. His bodies of work are vastly numerous and expansive. From covers to regular books Bachalo has done it all. Born in Portage La Prairie, Canada. Chris currently lives in Southern California with his wife and son.

Chris has had a lot of critical acclaim for many of his books. His most profound work, is an issue of Sandman, a long run on Shade the Changing Man and his run on Death: the High Cost of Living for DC/ Vertigo Comics.

For Marvel, Bachalo has done Generation X, Uncanny X-Men, New X-Men, Captain America and Amazing Spider-Man to name a few. Bachalo has done numerous fill in books as well for Marvel Comics.

Chris has even ventured out and did a creatively own book in 2000 for Cliffhanger/DC Comics entitled Steampunk. Written by Joe Kelly.

So profound is Mr. Bachalo's work, in 2003 his short story "The Wheel" featuring the character Death written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Chris was placed into the Library of Congress, as a tribute to 9/11 disaster.

Currently, Chris Bachalo is a working on X-Men again. He's also doing few issues of Avengers with Brian Michael Bendis for the Fear Itself Story line. Chris has also left his influence on TV (see below), Movies and Magazines too. He was commissioned to artwork which was subsequently turned into a huge mural that can be seen at the Marvel/Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, FL. Chris as even did cover art for the Wu-Tang Clan. The liner notes for their Wu Massacre CD is all done by Chris Bachalo.

Bachalo won the 1994 Eisner Award for Best Comics-Related Product.
