Career

Carlos Rafael got involved in the comics industry in 2006 when he inked an issue of Red Eagle's adaptation of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time prequel novel New Spring. Starting that same year and continuing into 2007 he worked for Dynamite Entertainment on several of their Battlestar Galactica issues, working alternately as inker and penciller. In 2007 he also did work on their Highlander comics. He continued to work for Dynamite on a variety of titles and in a variety of capacities from 2008 and continuing on to 2012, doing work for titles including Warlord of Mars, Buck Rogers and Green Hornet, among others.  

Personal Life

Rafael currently lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He began doing art at the age of eighteen, and attended the Graphic Design University in Rio. He has worked for Impacto Studios.
