Brett Blevins is a comic book penciller and inker, whose done work for both Marvel and DC Comics publishers, as well as some work for Disney studios. He started work for Marvel illustrating Kull the Conqueror, and The Dark Crystal. He later helped revive Strange Tales featuring Doctor Strange and also featuring the team Cloak and Dagger. Blevins contributed significantly to the Marvel title The New Mutants during its mid to late issues. He also drew Sleepwalker. Afterwards, he did exclusive work for DC comics on Batman. Blevins also, along with illustrator, writer and publisher Mike Manley, illustrated the series Girl Patrol for the briefly run Retro 50's Comix which initially was published in 1994. Blevins later went on and contributed story boards to several animated shows, notably Superman and Batman Beyond. He earned 2 Emmys for his work. Bret Blevins now continues his career as a painter, specializing in oils, and also does freelance story board work.
