During the first several years of the Transformers franchise he created most of the characters and names that we still know today. He was inducted in the Transformers Hall of Fame in 2010. He is also known as being the creator of the Marvel hero Sleepwalker. He already came up with this creation as early as 1979, but it would not see the light of day until 1991, when Sleepwalker received his own series, written by Bob himself.
