Biography

Mr Schmidt worked for ten years in the editoral department for Marvel. During his tenure he worked with creators like Stan Lee, David Finch, and Steve McNiven. After leaving Marvel, Mr Schmidt continued writing, editing, and founded Comics Experience (www.comicsexperience.com).

Impact books publishes The Insider's Guide to Creating Comics which was authored by Mr Schmidt.

Mr Schmidt currently works for IDW publishing as a Senior Editor. He currently lives in San Diego where he continues to have classes on "How To" about comics online. When he isn't teaching, he spends time with his wife and children.
