The Pogo Plane is also known as the Orbit Plane and is used to travel outside of Earth's atmosphere. It is also used to travel the globe as well and has Vertical Takeoff and Landing capabilities (VTOL). The Frightful Four destroyed the first Pogo Plane when they trapped the Fantastic Four on a Pacific atoll and delivered them their first defeat in Fantastic Four #38 ( May 1965).
