The suit was worn by Tony Stark after he was Inverted during the AXIS event, becoming the Superior Iron Man. Stark continued to use this suit until his apparent death during the Secret Wars crossover. After being returned to normal upon the restoration of the Earth, Tony began using the Model Prime armor instead.
