A desert-like world that, by the time of the 30th century, is colonized and a member of the United Planets. Talokians are a human-like race characterized by having blue skin and dark hair. The most famous native of Talok VIII is Tasmia Mallor, who is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes under the code name Shadow Lass.

Talok VIII is the homeworld of Shadow Lass, a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes and her cousin, Shadow Kid of the Legion Academy. It is also the home of Lyrissa Mallor, a founding member of L.E.G.I.O.N., and her daughter Darkstar.
