Ira programs the Decrepit to take him and Moonshadow, deep in a depression after hearing that much of his adoptive family is dead, to the Interplanetary House of Tarts, or I.H.O.T., a space-station-like object that bears more than a passing resemblance to an International House of Pancakes.

The inside, however, is quite different: a famed brothel staffed with workers in bunny suits. Ira, infamous as a prurient lech of the first degree even in ordinary times, and just out of a lengthy period of stressful brainwashing, books himself and Moonshadow for their sevices.

Moonshadow is reluctant at first, but eventually engages wholeheartedly and emerges with a new spirit. Ira, on the other hand, stays in his room for a week, sending numerous employees into their medical bay, and sublimating his psychic pain through unending sex.

Eventually he emerges, exhausted mentally and physically, and they are caught by some of Pobidiah's agents of morality.
