Effrul seems to be the place where The Damned do awake, for when Charlie Gilmour was beheaded by Fenris he awoke in the red sands of Effrul and it was there that he was met by the leader of Hell's Army. Effrul is a domain marked by a giant skull, once inhabited by the being Effrul, a giant creature that was slain by Lucifer but still remains with a deep hatred of the Morningstar.
