Courg is inhabited by a peaceful race of canine-like humanoids. They were attacked by Force and then the Stark. In an attempt to liberate them, the Guardians of the Galaxy intervened.
The Stark defeated, Firelord remained behind to make sure the Stark left. But the corpses left behind created a pestilence and eventually the Stark again returned for their vengeance. Atur is may be the only survivor of the entire race.
