Origin

Cord Castle was imported brick by brick from Europe by Dr. Drexel Cord, a business competitor of millionaire inventor Tony Stark. The castle doubled up as Cord's lab and was the location where he created The Demolisher and met his tragic death while trying to save his daughter Janice from his own creation. Janice was eventually rescued by Iron Man and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jasper Sitwell. After her father's death, Janice hired attorney Vincent Sandhurst to oversee the sale of the property to Stark Industries.
