The Continuum was created by Bill Maus.
Overview
A dimension between dimensions, the Continuum can act as a doorway through time and space but that power is a delicate one. Just like the balance of nature, it can be damaged and abused, causing great temporal storms that can wipe out entire worlds or even an entire universe.
It is the homeworld of the Cyberangels, a group of elite warriors whose charge it is to protect this temporal plane from any hostile force.
When a universe is wiped from existence, its surviving member(s) are sometimes transported to the Continuum to serve as a Cyberangel (as has happened to Allura and Mercy).
Its main city is called Artemis and is described as the very source of all the cyberangelic powers that exist. The city was created as a temporal stronghold to protect the delicate balance of time and to enforce its' own temporal laws upon anyone who would disturb that balance. It has hold Paradoxx in its prison several times. The Council of the Cyberangels houses in Artemis.
