Central City is a fictional city currently under the protection of the Flash. The city is often referred to as the city always on the run.

Central City was created as the home of the Silver Age Flash (Barry Allen). Central City is located in Missouri across the river from Keystone City, Kansas. There is a bridge connecting the two cities together.
It is the home of the Central City Police Department, where Barry Allen works as a forensic scientist. Central City was also originally home to The Rogues, but after Barry Allen's death they moved to Keystone City and became enemies of Wally West.
