Brief History

  • In the Marvel Universe, the Astral Plane is the realm of minds. Telepaths are able to access the Astral Plane by projecting their mind onto this realm, more commonly known as Astral Projecting, this also allowing them to enter the minds of others.
  • Professor X trapped the Shadow King on the Astral Plane to stop him from harming people.
  • Many characters powers come from the Astral plane, like X-Man.
  • The Power Cosmic originates from the astral plane. When the Silver Surfer travels there, he claims that he cannot be harmed.

DC Universe

  • Swamp Thing expelled John Constantine to the Astral Plane so that he could temporarily possess his body and conceive Tefé Holland with Abby.
