The combined might of the Fatal Five and the Legion of Super-Heroes face the Sun-Eater. Tharok devises a plan to destroy the Sun-Eater but it's the sacrifice of Ferro Lad that truly stops it. The Fatal Five try to destroy the Legion of Super-Heroes right after Sun-Eater is defeated, but they fight amongst themselves and teleport away. The rest of the Legionnaires return and hold a memorial for Ferro Lad.
