Patrick Clement is a member of the alien race The Vine. He is a descendant of Vine "plantlings" who were genetically modified to look human and left on Earth. He holds a high ranking position in British intelligence service MI6. Clement was also the one who hired Ninjak to kill X-O Manowar.
Creation
Patrick Clement was created by writer Robert Venditti and artist Lee Garbett. He first appeared in the story "Clandestine Gatherings" in X-O Manowar #5 (Sep. 2012).
Major Story Arcs
Clement's plan to hire Ninjak to kill Aric backfired as the two formed an uneasy alliance in order to protect Earth from a Vine invasion. The duo attacked the headquarters of MI6 and Clement's was killed during the assault.
