Professor Bernard Quatermass is a top British scientist who works with the British Experimental Rocket Group.

Creation

Created by Nigel Kneale, Professor Bernard Quatermass is at the forefront of Britain's space exploration endeavours during the 1950s as the head of the British Experimental Rocket Group. He first appeared, played by Reginald Tate after André Morell turned down the part, in the 1953 BBC TV series The Quatermass Experiment.

In 1977 House of Hammer magazine editor Dez Skinn had writers Les Lilley and Ben Aldrich and artist Brian Lewis adapt The Quatermass Xperiment into a two part comic strip for House of Hammer #8 and 9.
