Black Owl
Black Owl was one of two superheroes. The first was Doug Danville until he enlisted in WWII. The second was his successor Walt Walters, who fought the Nazis along with his sons Rick and Dick Walters aka "Yank" and "Doodle".

The first Black Owl was Doug Danville millionaire playboy, who first appears as K the Unknown in Prize Comics #1, and then as The Black Owl in Prize Comics #2. Later in Prize Comics #34, Doug passes the mantle to Walt Walters when he enlisted to fight in the second World War. Walt was the single father of the twin boys Rick and Dick Walters, who had been fighting crime for a couple of years under the names "Yank" and "Doodle". As the new Black Owl, the boys functioning as his sidekicks. BOTH Black Owls have since fallen into public domain.
