Character Bio

Not much is known about spinner's past prior to her joining up with the Initiative. After completing her initiative training she was assigned to the Initiative team of Montana "Freedom Force". She used her constantly changing powers to help the people of Montana along with her teammates. When the Skrull Invasion began, it was revealed that there was a Skrull impostor on every Initiative team, her teammate and friend Equinox was revealed to be a Skrull. Upon discovering he was a Skrull, Spinner had a breakdown, not believing it was true. She soon regained control over the situation and helped the Skrull Kill Krew defeat Equinox. She was then instructed to blow up the Initiative head quarters in each state so they couldn't use them to suck the world into the Negative Zone. She woke up with super speed that day and along with the speedsters Whiz Kid and Non-Stop she preceded to the bases with explosives. After blowing up many bases she made her way to her last job, the Hawaii base. However, her 24 hours were up and she lost her super speed just as she got to the base. Surrounded by Skrulls she took a chance and activated the explosives, hoping her new power was invulnerability. Sadly it was flight her explosives killed all of the Skrulls, the base, and sadly her.

Last Words

"Twenty Four hours are up...Bye-Bye speed. Only one option...three second timer...(she activated the bomb). Sure hope I drew invulnerability this time around. (she floats off the ground) Flight. Crap."

FEAR ITSELF

Commander Steve Rogers informs Prodigy of the unknown meteors that have fallen from the heavens and mass panic is on the horizon. Rogers asks Prodigy to gather heroes on a volunteer basis to help keep the peace and lead a new Initiative where there is no forced conscription or registration. Prodigy agrees to become the leader of the new Initiative and most of the former Initiative teams gather in Washington DC. She can be spotted among the cadets there, but whether it's an artist's mistake or not, she appears to have survived the point-blank blast.

Spinner's powers allow her to "spin" through a set of powers, getting and losing a new power every 24 hours.
