Sheik Abdullah first appears in Ms. Marvel issue #3, shown performing a lecture for the young men and women of his mosque. Sheik Abdullah is an older man who offers wisdom, it is in fact he who tells Kamala to continue 'helping people', as she told him without specifying how she is helping others and that she should do so with courage, compassion and respect.
