Known as Chan Ho Yin, he is portrayed by Louis Ozawa Changchien in the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Chan was a street performer in Hong Kong, who inexplicably developed pyrokinetic powers. Following the emergence of his powers he was identified and placed on a list of powered individuals by S.H.I.E.L.D. and is assign Agent Quan as his handler. However, due to being forced to keep his powers hidden he grew angry, as considered them to have been granted to him for a particular reason.

After a street performance, Chan reveals his secret pyrokinetic ability to a "girl in a flower dress" named Raina who, along with several Project Centipede agents, kidnaps him. Giving him the name Scorch she promised him fame, successfully convincing him to allow Centipede to run a few tests on his powers. They inject him with Extremis, hoping to find a way to stabilize it. After several tests were performed on him, the doctor decided to remove Chan's blood platelets, causing him to be burnt by his powers. Agent Coulson and his team track down Chan in a rescue mission, but Chan revolts against them, killing Agent Quan and several Centipede scientists. Coulson is forced to kill him, activating the unstable element of Extremis causing him to explode.
