Brief History
Piper was among the first Savage Land natives to be mutated in order to serve Magneto. The Savage Land Mutates were a villain team made by Magneto based in the Savage Land. Piper and his team opposed the X-men on one ocassion, as well as other superhero teams such as the Avengers and Power Pack.
Creation
Piper was created by Roy Thomas and Neal Adams in 1969 and first appeared in X-Men # 62.
Powers and Abilities
Both Pipers have the ability to psionically control animals by using his flute.

The second Piper was a Morlock and was living in the Morlock Tunnels.
