Network is a mutant that has the ability to interact with technology, at an intimate level. She is also a member of Alpha Squadron. She was depowered and then later killed when blown up by the Purifiers.

Sarah lived with her mother who is a workaholic after her parents separated. Though intelligent, she was shy like her sister Preview, but was not a trouble maker, instead preferring to use the computer all day, until one day the computer "answered" her. She thought she was seeing things, until, playing with a gameboy she accidentally used her powers to influence the car.

Creation

Network was created by Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir and Michael Ryan and first appeared in New X-Men issue 5 (2004).

Joining the Xavier Institute

Alpha Squadron
Alpha Squadron

Her name, powers and codename were revealed in New X-Men: Yearbook Special #1. She was voted most likely to be a millionaire after graduation. She joined the Xavier Institute's Alpha Squadron group, in which she was seperated from her sister Preview, whom was part of the Paragons Squad. The two regulary mett up and had training sessions as well.

M-Day and Death

Network was one of the many students depowered after M-day. She, her sister Preview and teammember DJ were the only ones of the Paragons that were depowered. After no longer being mutants, the former mutants left the school, with a few busses taking them back home. Unfortunately, Network was killed on the bus which was blown up by William Stryker's Purifiers whom undertook an assault on the Xavier Institute. Her sister survived the assault, because she was not on the bus.

Resurrection

Network was one of the many mutant resurrected by the Five following the creation of the nation of Krakoa. She was seen in the party welcoming back Wind Dancer after being resurrected.

Powers

Sarah possesses technopathy/cyberpathy: she can mentally communicate with and control all forms of electronic machinery, letting her access computer files and manipulate programming to suit her needs. The extent of her powers was unrevealed.

Sarah Vale together with the other mutants was on a ship going to Genosha when the Reavers attacked them. Believing that her powers would be powerless in fighting them, Nightcrawler persuaded them to join forces so that they can defeat the Reavers. She talked to the ship with her powers and she was able to make it operate. She is voiced by Grey DeLisle.
