The chief of security for Moses Magnum's Magnum Munitions, Lawson was responsible when High-Tech, a vigilante working to build sophisticated prosthetics for those in need, stole material built by Cybertek for his work at Stark Prosthetics. Lawson used a tracer in the stolen data to track down High-Tech, and used the Magnum Terrordome to attack him. Deathlok stopped him, and Lawson was sent to prison, where his employers had him bailed out and subsequently killed.
